The last time the world was offered a serious alternative to public transportation was with the introduction of the automobile. This resulted in the demise of public transportation, in the form of the railways, and the creation of the automobile industry - the largest private sector industry the world had ever seen. Skyblazer is the next logical step in this process, offering a serious alternative to public air transportation.
The concept of a flying car has been a perennial fantasy for 100 years. Articles continue to appear in the media on this subject and almost all futuristic fiction includes the concept as a given. There is every indication that the flying car, once successfully demonstrated, will have a profound impact on the transportation industry - perhaps as great an impact as did the automobile in its own time.
The Skyblazer design is based on solid and achievable engineering that meets the rigorous standards of credible engineers. It does not require the development of new technologies or materials, but uses tried and tested aircraft and automobile construction methods and a currently available power plant. All core engineering work has now been completed and the project is ready to move into the final phase of development.
The Skyblazer project has thus far been funded from the private resources of the designer. The project now requires additional funding - creating an exciting opportunity for investment.
Specifically, funding is required for:
Completion of a working prototype.
FAA type certification.
Publicity and promotion.
Establishment of an initial production facility.
